Ceramic printed glass, often known as Silk-screened glass, is becoming used for masking and decorating both the inside and exterior facades of buildings. Before the glass is tempered, special enamels are applied to print ceramic designs on it. This enamel melts into the glass during the heating process used in tempering or bending, resulting in a monolithic structure. This is as durable as any printed ceramic tableware you may have at home, and it has all the same technical properties as unprinted glass. It has a long lifespan and is not affected by the weather, household cleaners, common acids, or alkalis. These enamels can be applied via roller coating, screen printing, spray printing, and direct on-glass digital printing techniques before being tempered.
