Insulating glass units, sometimes known as IGUs, are intended to keep homes cooler and cozier in the summer. In the winter season, these units do not allow inside heat to escape, thus providing a comfortable environment.
An insulating glass unit typically consists of two panes of glass (or more, in some cases) that are joined at the edges and spaced between by a spacer material.
